Wow - the first official post to our site... needless to say, we're excited!

In many ways, it seems like it has taken forever to reach this day. Over the last 8 months we've been busy completing a mountain of paperwork, dealing with governmental agencies, roaming the isles of Babies-R-Us, and making our house Kai and Sierra-proof (thanks Grandpa Les). But the big day is drawing near. Tomorrow morning we leave for Kazakhstan to meet and bring home our children.

We've still got some last minute things to take care of this evening, so we'll keep the post brief and just share with you a graphical look at our route and some "pre-baby" pictures.
